Creatomatic are recruiting – Web Developer Role

Creatomatic are looking for a web designer/developer to join our growing team at our offices in Southern Scotland.

Kit Allen

Reporting to: Development Team Lead
Location: Head Office, Lockerbie with flexible and remote working available
Contract: Full time, permanent
Salary: Minimum £22k
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, flexitime available to suit

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual with experience of PHP, HTML and Javascript as well as good communication and people skills. A working knowledge of WordPress and/or Shopify would be a bonus, but we’re very happy to help the right person find their feet and learn on the job.

The role would suit a graduate, although we’re more impressed by portfolio, enthusiasm and willingness to roll up the sleeves and get stuck in than qualifications.

You’ll work with our development team to add features to our SaaS website systems, as well as providing hands-on support to client websites and helping with the website build process. You’ll be supported by our small, friendly team of designers and developers at every step of the way to help you grow into your role, moving up to become a fully-blown web developer or product manager. We like people to find their natural role here to make sure they’re happy in their work.

Creatomatic are based in Lockerbie, although we’re currently working remotely while our new offices are being renovated and redecorated. While we fully support flexible home working, we’d expect you to work at least 2-3 days a week on-site with the team once our new offices are open.

In return, you’ll get a minimum salary of £22,000pa plus benefits; a flexitime working schedule; great holidays including two week shutdown at Christmas and New year; a really close and friendly team; and an entertaining (if sometimes challenging!) working environment.

Email [email protected] with your CV and relevant experience.
